About The Foudation
The Ben Grubbs Foundation was founded in 2009. The events raise money for the Ben Grubbs Foundation to give back to the communities of Baltimore, MD and Eclectic, AL. Some of the stand out points to reference would certainly be that Ben participated in Shop with a Raven by helping 50 children from Special Olympics Maryland choose gifts for the holiday season; as well as Ben was named the Ravens Roost No. 7’s Extra Effort award winner for his on-field performance in 2007. Also within the foundation Ben has accepted the award at the annual banquet in April (‘08) in Hagerstown, MD. Ben presented awards to high school athletes at the banquet to many deserving candidates through out the night. The Ravens partnered with the Maryland Mentoring Partnership to organize a mentoring program with Ravens staff members and students from nearby New Town Elementary School in Nov. 2008. Grubbs also attended the kickoff party in Nov. 2008, spoke to the students and serves as the program’s spokesperson. With the support of our sponsors we continue to see great results in the community as we strive for the prosperity, mental and emotional stability of the less fortunate youth of our great land.
